PS4 NSW NPL1 Youth League Season Review

St George FC Youth teams were easily the stand out performers this season in the highest competition in NSW which is known as the PS4 NSW NPL1 competition.

Picking up  2 of the 4 Premiers Plates in the 12's & 13's ,our 14's finishing 2nd and our 15's finishing 10th on the regular season tables.

Our under 12's finished undefeated on 58 points,10 points clear of 2nd place Sutherland with the following results being, 18 Wins 4 Draws and No losses, scoring 47 goals and conceding only 9 goals all season.

Congratulations to all our under 12's players, Gwynne Berry our 12's coach, our 12's manager Kon Kontis on an outstanding regular season and we wish you all the best in the finals series.

Our 13's Finished undefeated on 62 points, 14 points clear of 2nd place Marconi, with 19 wins 5 draws and No losses scoring 65 goals conceding 20 all season.

Congratulations to all our 13's players, Terry Palapanis our 13's coach and TD, our 13's manager Violet Tanoski on also having an outstanding regular season and we wish you all the best in the final series.

Our 14's finished 2nd behind (Blacktown Spartans 57 points) on 51 points with 15 wins 6 draws just the 3 games lost, scoring 57 goals conceding 17 goals.

Once again congratulations to all our 14's players, Paul Bertolissio our 14's Coach and manager Ian Raatz,  we wish you all the best in the  final series.

Our 15's had a tougher season finishing 10th on 28 points,12 points behind 5th place, with 8 wins 4 draws and 12 losses, the 15's scored 31 goals conceded 43 goals during the season. Well done to all the 15's players, our 15's coach Jim Patikas, assistant Nick Valsamis and manager Vicki Papoutsis.

 

We at St George FC would also like to congratulate all those players who have been selected in the HAL teams (A League clubs) who are moving on and we wish you all the very best and may we see some Socceroo’s out of you boys one day.

A very well done also goes out to our TD Terry Palapanis who has taken on the job of TD for the last 2 season who won the club championships last season in NPL2 youth with 2 rounds to go and who if there was a club championship this season in NPL1 (who is keeping count) has done the same this season.
