St George 4 Defeated Manly 0
The under 13 Lads put in another superb performance to show their dominance again over the Northern Beaches boys.
Manly had possession for around 20 percent of the time and tried to play good football but our pressing dominance neutralised any opportunities that they had.
Our passing game is continuing to to get better and what is being taught at training is being put into practice on game day.
We scored 4 good goals and Manly never looked like a threat.

The 15s Saints played high flying Manly in a very challenging contest at St George Stadium. Our boys showed enormous strength and determination from the first whistle keeping Manly in their own half for the first 15-20mins creating numerous opportunities with the likes of Kudzai, Josh and Liam. Unfortunately, one counter attacking opportunity for Manly enabled them to sneak into our box leading to a neat finish from the 6 yard box allowing Manly to go 1-0 up at halftime.
Our boys were unfazed by this setback and we continued to create numerous opportunities with some great play from Anthony and Liam on the left hand side. As the game was concluding and as we continued to mount pressure, Harry S pushed forward from centre back to bring the game level. However, our boys weren't content with the draw and with 5minutes to go we got a free kick from 25metres out. This allowed the brave Aaron C to score a wonderful curling free kick with his "left foot" to secure the 3 points for this courageous side. A momentous win for a great group of boys. Next week we take on the table topping Marconi. The right approach, attitude and belief can enable us to achieve the desired results against anyone in this competition.
