Division One Youth League Round 7 Review

With every passing week this division seems to grow in quality as each and every one of the competitions produces its share of “surprise” results which keep us all guessing about who will end up where at season’s end.

Club Championship

Mt Druitt Town Rangers have established a very handy lead at the top of the table after they took thirteen points from their short trip to eleventh placed Nepean while Gladesville Ryde Magic are second and they might have been a bit disappointed that they could take only two points from their encounter with third placed St George.

Hills Brumbies are in fourth position after they shared the spoils at six points apiece with sixth placed Stanmore Hawks and Schofields Scorpions are fifth thanks to the twelve points they claimed from their home matches against twelfth placed Mountains United.

Camden Tigers are sitting in seventh spot after they could take only six points from their visit to ninth placed Northbridge but the Tigers collected seven points from the three catch-up matches against Mountains United.

Eighth placed Southern Branch could capture only four points from their journey to tenth placed Hakoah.

Grade 13

Unbeaten Gladesville Ryde Magic dropped points for the first time this season but they are still are leading the way on the competition table following their 1-1 draw with third placed St George while Mt Druitt Town Rangers are in second spot after they claimed the points with a 2-1 victory over eleventh placed Nepean.

Camden Tigers are placed fourth after they were 2-1 winners over seventh placed Northbridge and the Tigers also picked up the points from their catch-up match against Mountains United which the won 2-0.

Fifth placed Hills Brumbies battled out a 1-1 draw with sixth placed Stanmore Hawks and Hakoah are eighth af6er they produced a 2-0 victory over ninth placed Southern Branch while tenth placed Schofields Scorpions defeated twelfth placed Mountains United with a 3-1 scoreline.

Grade 14

There is a log jam at the top of the table with three teams locked together and separated only by goal difference. Southern Branch are the leaders after they fought out a 2-2 draw with tenth placed Hakoah and Camden Tigers are second following their 1-0 loss to sixth placed Northbridge and their 2-0 win over Mountains United in a catch-up match. Third placed St George posted a 1-0 victory when they faced ninth placed Gladesville Ryde Magic.

Mt Druitt Town Rangers are fourth thanks to their 3-0 success over seventh placed Nepean and Schofields Scorpions are in fifth position after they were 4-0 winners over twelfth placed Mountains United while eighth placed Hills Brumbies were held to a 1-1 draw by eleventh placed Stanmore Hawks.

Grade 15

Undefeated St George are the competition frontrunners following their 5-1 victory over fourth placed Gladesville Ryde Magic and Mt Druitt Town Rangers are in second spot after they posted a 6-0 success over tenth placed Nepean.

Hills Brumbies maintained their unbeaten status when they were held to a 2-2 draw by ninth placed Stanmore Hawks while fifth placed Schofields Scorpions registered a 6-0 result when they met twelfth placed Mountains United.

Hakoah are in sixth spot after they claimed the points from seventh placed Southern Branch with a 3-1 win and eighth placed Northbridge shaded eleventh placed Camden Tigers by the odd goal in five.

Grade 16

Unbeaten Mt Druitt Town Rangers have a handy lead at the head of the table after they were held to a 1-1 draw by seventh placed Nepean and Southern Branch are placed second following their 1-0 win over fifth placed Hakoah.

Third placed Mountains United suffered a 3-2 loss to ninth placed Schofields Scorpions and they picked up a point when they battled out a scoreless draw with Camden Tigers in a catch-up match.

Gladesville Ryde Magic are in fourth position after they battled out a 0-0 draw with eleventh placed St George and Stanmore Hawks are in sixth spot following the 1-0 loss to eighth placed Hills Brumbies while tenth placed Northbridge defeated twelfth placed Camden Tigers with a 2-0 scoreline.

Grade 18

St George are the competition leaders on goal difference after they posted a 2-0 result over Gladesville Ryde Magic who have dropped back to second spot while Camden Tigers are third following their 1-0 success over seventh placed Northbridge.

Placed fourth on goal difference, Mt Druitt Town Rangers produced a 3-0 victory when they faced eighth placed Nepean and Stanmore Hawks are in fifth position thanks to their 3-0 win over tenth placed Hills Brumbies.

Schofields Scorpions are sitting in sixth spot after they edged out eleventh placed Mountains United by the odd goal in five while ninth placed Hakoah registered a 9-2 victory over twelfth placed Southern Branch.
