St George v Hakoah

The Saints Under 13s produced the most impressive result of the day’s round against Hakoah, winning 6-2 to remain in second place on the table, ahead of Gladesville Ryde Magic on goal difference. Cullum Bartier and George Medukovic each scored a brace, while Christopher Condylios and Matt Petrovski both scored one in the rout.

While our Under 14s suffered a 1-0 loss, the Under 15s got the Saints back into winning ways, with another hefty win in a 4-1 victory. Hussein Ghachame was the star of the show, scoring a hatrick with Julian Valia also getting on the scoresheet. St George stay top in the Under 15s, undefeated so far this season.

A 1-0 loss in the Under 16s followed and there was further heartbreak in the Under 18s when the Saints, leading 2-0 into the final minutes, conceded two late goals to share the points 2-2. James Spanoudakis and Rodney Lewin were the Saints scorers.

We are second on the club championship just eight points behind Mount Druitt Town Rangers.
