The inaugural winner of the hummel Player of the Week Award for the Arrive Alive Women’s Super League is St George FC defender Brook McGuire. Brooke’s team took something of a hammering at the hands of Central Coast Lightning last weekend. However, without Brooke’s non-stop tackling performance and marshalling of her defence the score could have been much more embarrassing. Brooke played her heart out for her side which influenced St George FC to nominate her for the hummel Player of the Week Award. Congratulations Brooke on a fine effort!
